… A very odd moment I witnessed today nearby Tongdaemun Stadium. A crowd of some kind of protesters gathered around their banner. Strangely…you knew somethings in the air, because one block earlier, I spotted a group of “hooligans”. Some of them were talking to their mobile phones. Seemed like they were waiting for something. Anyway, I passed by till I reached the protesters and took some pictures of them. Then all of the sudden, the “hooligans” ran towards the protesters. But they didnt start to fight, they just bodychecked the protesters till they got thru their banner. They snatched it away and ran off. And then….and then the whole show was over and the protesters disbanded. Huh?! So strange! Kind of like a “Capture the Flag” game. I guess democracy in Korea bears also some aspects of sport. I thought about that the rest of the day. Thats why I like travelling, u get to see so many new things. (fullscreen)
